It was a dark and stormy night.... on March 8th 1980...
and at the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia a young impressionable boy named Rob De Luca
attended his first UFO gig. Like many before and since who've seen Pete Way in action
for the first time, this young impressionable boy was inspired to become a bassplayer.
He practised hard, grew his hair long, and lovingly preserved his gig ticket for posterity.
And then, in a quirky twist of fate, exactly twenty-eight years later on March 8th 2008... he got a phonecall inviting him to stand in for his idol after Pete was refused a working visa to tour America.
Which just goes to show that if you want a quiet life you should stay at home on dark and stormy nights.

When you send in the photos of your tickets etc, please can you include some jolly anecdotes such as
'This was the night I got dumped by my fiancee' or 'This was the night Pete split his pants' - stuff like that.
Make sure you also send in the rare tix-pix... the no-shows, the meltdowns etc. Let's wallow.
